Dog Bodywork Plush for Understanding 3D Movements
This plush model was created to help understand and explain the characteristics of canine gait and movement. Its structure reveals the skeletal framework, making it easier to reproduce limb motions. In the forelimbs, the scapula, shoulder, elbow, and carpal joints are represented. In the hind limbs, the pelvis and hip are combined, while the knee and tarsal joints are shown in a flexed position corresponding to a typical standing posture. Because the joint positions are clearly indicated, the model is extremely useful both for demonstrating and for personally understanding the differences between normal gait and abnormal gait.
